Stephaine Courtney is a maternal health advocate, educator, and founder of the Shades of Motherhood Network, dedicated to improving maternal health outcomes and addressing structural disparities affecting Black and Brown mothers.

Her passion for collaboration and community connection drives her work serving patients and families throughout the Inland Northwest.

The stage may be unfamiliar territory, but Dance With Spokane! gives Stephaine an entirely new way to embrace a challenge, celebrate the arts, and bring awareness to an issue that matters deeply to our community.

Meet Prosparetti

Prosparetti's dance foundation began in jazz, hip hop, and tap before eventually expanding into Latin dance, salsa, cumbia, Afro-Cuban movement, and fusion styles.

Since returning to dance through Alegría in 2023, she has rediscovered not only performance but the community that can form around it.

That passion extends to teaching and mentorship. In 2025, Prosparetti and her sister received a Spokane Arts Grant to create a Performing Arts Kids Camp, giving young dancers a space to explore musicality, emotion, imagination, and storytelling through movement.
